Advantages of a Progressive Web App

Your PWA does not require approval and placement in one of the app stores before it is deployed to the users in the marketplace.

Unlike a native app, a PWA has a website address and can be shared by merely texting the web address to a device, emailing the address to a device or by converting the address to a QRcode placed on a business card, a brochure, a banner or a website and scanned.

The user can opt-in to receive push notifications and, or SMS (text) messages.

The app will offer the option of placing your App icon on the home screen.  Once that is completed, there will never need to be another update or download.

The PWA will simply update silently as the owner makes content changes to the app.

The PWA operates across platforms, both Android and Apple, mobile phone, tablet, laptop, and desktops computers.  While PWAs work well across platforms, there are a few issues that may arise with Apple iOS.

and information sharing!

According to research firm Gartner, PWAs will replace 50% of general-purpose consumer-facing native apps by 2020.
